There are so many bible verses that remind us that our thirst for spiritual hunger is in line with God’s requirement for his children. That allows us to trust and worship him through words and deeds.
The Book of Psalm 119 verse 81 Reminds us that our soul fainteth for thy salvation: but we hope in his word. Further in Psalm 119:97-98 Oh, how I love Your law! It is my meditation all the day. You, through Your commandments, make me wiser than my enemies; For they are ever with me. While Psalm 119:105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.
We are, reminded in the book of Matthew 5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be, filled.
Mighty God, we ask that you continue to make us thirst and hunger for spiritual salvation and righteousness. Keep the adversary at arm’s length because your words and our deeds repel him in every way. Lord we are weak and thou hart strong, we need your protection each day and call upon you to shelter us in Jesus name Amen.
