Life is sometimes so chaotic that we forget to give God the glory every single day. We are, pushed against the things we have to do to survive o, a daily basis that we forget the most crucial thing is thanking God.
Mighty God, I thank you for allowing me another day even with the pain that I am feeling now. The pain is a reminder that I am alive, and if I trust you, then the pain will be just a fleeting and passing uneasiness.
Eternal Father, sometimes we forget that you are the great I AM and that all things are possible if we genuinely believe that you are capable of healing all wounds and making everything in our lives right.
1 Peter 3:14-15 But and if ye suffer for righteousness’ sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled; But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear.
Contemplating the power of God is something that benefits us all. When we meditate and know that God is all powerful, we are, reassured that he is in control and that we don’t have to be. 2 Samuel 22:33 God is my strength and power: and he maketh my way perfect.
Psalm 71:18 Now also when I am old and grey-headed, O God, forsake me not; until I have shewed thy strength unto this generation, and thy power to everyone that is to come.
When we understand the awesome power of God, the more we learn about him is, the more we come to follow him and trust him without question. He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing. He bindeth up the waters in his thick clouds, and the cloud is not rent under them.
He holdeth back the face of his throne, and spreadeth his cloud upon it. He hath compassed the waters with bounds until the day and night come to an end. The pillars of heaven tremble and are astonished at his reproof. He divideth the sea with his power, and by his understanding, he smiteth through the proud. By his spirit, he hath garnished the heavens; his hand hath formed the crooked serpent.
Lo, these are parts of his ways: but how little a portion is, heard of him? But the thunder of his power who can understand? [Job 26:7-14]
