From creation, there is one fact that has not changed, and it will never be, replaced, and that is God gave us all choices.
We must recognise that choice started in the garden of Eden when Eve was tempted by the Devil to eat from the tree of knowledge, even though she was told not to. But, the most significant misuse of choice is the fact that although Adam knew it was forbidden for him to consume anything from that tree, he still allowed Eve to convince him to go against the wishes of God.
Every choice that we made there is a consequence to that decision and, therefore, it is fundamental that we make choices that will not only enrich our lives but that it will live on even when we are no longer in the physical world.
God has told us in the book of Deuteronomy 30:19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live. We are encouraged to make effective choices so that even our children will benefit from the choices we make.
There are only two ways to follow in this world, either God’s or the Devil’s. What we think his our way is Satan’s way and puts us under the authority of the enemy. If someone is not for God, he automatically is against Him. We understand that the Devil is furious that the creator gave us choices.
We must Renew our soul, which will cause negative habits and emotions to change. The key to that change is faith in God. Through our wills, we must choose to change. However, it is only the work of the Holy Spirit who can bring a permanent change in us.
Having choose to let go of the negative and allows the Holy Spirit to do the changing. We cannot harbour any doubts and unbelief it will keep us from receiving the healing of the body. A Christian must make the choices for God’s way and against his way in absolute faith that the Holy Spirit will do His part and make the needed changes in us.
