Human beings tend to tell us what they believe is the right path to serving God, ignoring God’s blueprint, which is the Bible.
They impose their perception of what they think is the right way in serving God, sometimes even ignoring the instructions in the Bible. Because they sometimes believe that the words in the Bible do not conform to modern-day society. So they pick and choose what they believe is essential and try to impart this on the people.
You shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish from it, you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you. [Deuteronomy 4:2] We cannot add to God’s word to make them politically correct or to meet the requirement of this world.
Let us look into further scriptures that tell you that the Bible is not only the blueprint of God’s word, but he does not expect us to alter are change is commandments.
