Human beings tend to tell us what they believe is the right path to serving God, ignoring God’s blueprint, which is the Bible.

They impose their perception of what they think is the right way in serving God, sometimes even ignoring the instructions in the Bible. Because they sometimes believe that the words in the Bible do not conform to modern-day society. So they pick and choose what they believe is essential and try to impart this on the people.

You shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish from it, you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you. [Deuteronomy 4:2] We cannot add to God’s word to make them politically correct or to meet the requirement of this world.

Let us look into further scriptures that tell you that the Bible is not only the blueprint of God’s word, but he does not expect us to alter are change is commandments.

1 Deuteronomy 11:18 Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes.
2 2 Samuel 22:31 As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the Lord is, tried: he is a buckler to all them that trust in him.
3 Job 23:12 Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.
4 Psalm 12:6 The words of the Lord are pure: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
5 Matthew 4:4 But he answered and said, It is, written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
6 Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick powerful, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
