Christians who accept God as their Lord and saviour need to convince those who are wavering, why the Devil wishes to corrupt and destroy creation.
Isaiah 40:12 says who has measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, and meted out heaven with the span, comprehended the dust of the earth in a measure, weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance? God, of course.
We know that God creates everything perfectly until the Devil decided to go against the very person who created him. But why does the Devil need to destroy God’s creations so severely? Understanding Satan rebellious behaviour is the first step in recognising why the Devil is determined to take as many of us with him into hell and damnation.
When God created man, he make him in his image, and the Devil believes that we were beneath him and God had no right to put human over angels. That was the Devil first steps in trying to destroy God’s handiworks.
Satan started in the Garden of Eden and was successful in using Eve to cause Adam to sin and go against the instructions he was, given. Since then, the Devil sets out to destroy God’s children. But to do so, he needed tools that were attractive to humanity, and he found them in what is known as the seven deadly sins.
The tools that Satan uses are greed, envy, malice, pride, gluttony, sloth and evil. He is very good at using these deadly sins to corrupt the human race. Because only ten per cent of the world owns the wealth, we have, great poverty within our society. That allows the Devil to influence so many people in believing that God does not care about his people.
How do you convince someone who is living in poverty, homelessness, hungry and destitute that God is on their side, and they do not need to worry about anything?
The Bible gives us all the answers that we need. We should continue to preach the message to our fellow human until they understand how dangerous and convincing the Devil can be.
