We must understand what, why, and how anger impacts our daily lives, and the Bible is full of information that will teach you about how detrimental anger is to your well-being. Therefore, let us look at some of the Biblical scripture that deals with being angry.

James 1:20 For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God. Proverbs 29:11 A fool uttereth all his mind: but a wise man keepeth it in till afterwards. Fools give vent to their anger, but the wise man keeps calm in the face of adversity.

Colossians 3:8 But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. Psalm 37:8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil.

Proverbs 29:22 An angry man stirreth up strife, and a furious man aboundeth in transgression. When you allow anger to darken your path, you authorise the Devil to use His influence to heighten the problem.

Anger is and will remain a tool used by Satan to trap you into committing varying degree of atrocities against your fellow human. When human beings allow violence into their lives, it can cause them to resort to murder and mayhem.

Proverbs 14:17 He that is soon angry dealeth foolishly: and a man of wicked devices is hated. Allowing yourself to become hot-tempered and frustrated, you will lose the ability to deal effectively with any problem that arises. Keeping a calm and relaxed composure not only will not resort to anger, but you will effectively defeat the Devil.

Ephesians 4:31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice.
