The Various Ways In Which God Hear Our Cries And Prayers There are times when we feel that God is not listening to us or hearing our prayers.

You feel let down because God is not acting fast enough to answer your cries or prayers. You forget that God does things in His way and because he has the entire picture of your life, he knows when and how to give you the answers when you cry out to him.

Let us look at the Biblical scriptures that tell us how God answer our cries and prayers.

1 John 5:14-15 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he heareth us. And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

John 9:31 Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man is a worshipper of God and does his will, he heareth. Matthew 21:22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

1 Peter 3:12 For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil. 1 Peter 5:7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

Mark 11:24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. Psalm 34:17 The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles. Isaiah 65:24 And it shall come to pass that I will answer before they call; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.

Matthew 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. Psalm 18:6 In my distress, I called upon the Lord, and cried unto my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears.

James 1:5-8 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let, not that man think that he shall receive anything of the Lord. A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways.

2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Philippians 4:6-7 Be careful about nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Psalm 145:18 The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth. 1 John 3:22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those good things in his sight. Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Romans 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

Bring your troubles, cries and prayers to the living God and sit back and watch him work miracles in your life.
