Today You Are Wishing That God Will Make Your Life Easier. But do you stop to think that he is carrying all your burdens, taking control of your life if you trust him to do so, and most of all, God is up to something when you are up to nothing?
We speculate about everyday things, we only have a small picture, but God has the entire scope of all our lives. He sees and knows every little detail of your life before birth.
Today you may be in financial peril, homeless, hungry, not know where to turn and feel like nobody cares. You feel despondent because you do not trust God to handle all your problems. You need to hand them over to your Father and sit back and watch how he works miracles in your life.
Let us look at what the Bible says about God’s help to his people.
Isaiah 41:10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
Psalm 23: 1 – 6 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He made me lie down in green pastures and leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
Let us think about Psalm 23 for a moment; everything in this Psalm should allow you to have faith in God and all he can do for you. God said although you may walk through the valley of the shadow of death, you shall fear no evil because He is with you. His rod and staff will comfort you.
Philippians 4:6-7 Be careful about nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
In the book of Phillippians, God once again tells us that we should not worry about anything, but we should come to Him in prayer and supplication, and he shall fulfil our wishes according to His promise. However, remember that God will never give you anything that will cause you harm. The only thing capable of doing so is the Devil.
Matthew 7:7 Ask and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: 1 Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
God would never leave us instructions to ask; it shall be given seek, and we shall find. The word shall is absolute, so when God uses the term Shall, he means every word because he is never a liar. Satan lies. Everything he does or says is to deceive God’s people and lead them into damnation. Do not allow the Devil to take control of your life; trust God, and all will be well.
Lastly, God told us in John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
No matter what you are going through today and every day, trust God, cast your troubles and burdens on him and watch how he works miracles in your life. The Lord is your light and salvation; there is no other to trust. Amen.
