The most exceptional testimony of the belief that you have in God is that you are walking by faith, not by sight.
We are, reminded in the scripture. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God [Ephesians 2:8]. Although we know that we are living in God through worship, it is easy to recognise God in your daily life.
A newborn baby cries, falling of the rain, sunshine, and the various miracles that happen around you each day it is a testament that there is a living God. You see God every day, but some of us do not take the time to recognise his presence.
James 2:18 – Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. James 2:20 – But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
Hebrews 11:6 – But without faith, it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Titus 1:16 – They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.
Hebrews 11:3 – Through faith, we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God so that things which are, seen were, not made of items which do appear.
Faith will change our eternal destiny, for we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. My brothers, show no partiality as you hold the faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory.
Mighty God on this you most precious day I ask that you continued to strengthen my faith in you. Keep me grounded in your glory, show me the ways of the righteous and allow me to lay my burdens upon your shoulders, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
