You spend your time believing that you can achieve everything that you need in your life. But failure becomes a part of that trial.

What some of us do not understand or recognise is that we cannot achieve anything in this world without God’s help. You fail at most things in your life. Sometimes you find yourself homeless, hunger, poverty and hopelessness, but you still believe you can make it on your own.

You buy into the Devil’s system of greed, vanity, lust, hatred, gluttony, and still, there is an emptiness that befalls you each day. The more you turn to the ways of the evil one, your life becomes unfulfilling, hard and miserable because there is one crucial element missing.

Then sometimes realisation hits you, and you realise that you have tried everything except God. There you go, and once you dip into the vast pool of God’s grace, lean on His son’s shoulder, accepting Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, you win the battle.

The Devil is knowledgeable; he wants to keep you from acknowledging the existence of God. He needs you to believe that there is no salvation, or there is anyone you can turn to in your desperation.

However, the Bible tells us in Ephesians 2:8-9 – For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.
Not of works, lest any man should boast.

2 Corinthians 5:21 –  For he hath made him be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. Jesus Christ is our way to the Creator, and he did so much for you to give him a chance to do more.

Revelation 3:20 –  Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hears my voice, and open the door, I will come into him and will sup with him, and he with me. God is waiting for you to open the door so that he can walk in and make your life joyful.

PRAYER
Almighty God, I open my heart, body and soul to you this day and ask that you enter and make me whole. Father, I will not allow the Devil to steal the joys that you have given me. Strengthen, protect, cover me under your wings in the precious name of Jesus Amen.
