According to information report in the media, the European Law Agency said that 211 attacks occurred in 2015, and that was the highest since they began records back in 2006.
Apparently, the UK had the highest with over 102, with most occurring in Northern Island. Â The agency also suggested, as reported, that most of the 687 EU arrest was for jihadist terrorism.
From the information outlined there is no doubt that terrorist activities were high in 2015, and it affects more than one EU conttries such as France, Denmark, Italy, Spain, UK and Greece. The fact that 151 people died, and over 360 were injured in the terrorist-related incident last year, is unacceptable.Â
Following the information from this report I’m am convinced that we do not need the fragmented European Union, we need one that is united to fight these terrorist activities. To be able to foil more plots, the terrorist is not about to give up their reign of terror, and Europol should be ready to stop them.
It is also welcoming to know that from the of those that were arrest for terrorist activities 94% were found guilty in a court of law. Â We must be able to travel in and around the European Union without having to worry that if we go to a member country, we may be caught up in some terrorist act. Â
