God’s Standards Are Sacrosanct They Cannot Be Diluted

God’s standards are sacrosanct; they cannot be diluted or changed to accommodate the ways of human beings.

The man was, told this, Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. (Matthew 22:37). It is absolute, not maybe or perhaps, you shall love the Lord your God, and you cannot dilute these instructions to suit your wants.

So that we understand the importance of God’s standards I have listed some Bible verses that laid out the rules that God requires from his people and what will happen if we fail to follow these standards.

For the time has come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begins at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? (1 Peter 4:17)

And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. (Revelation 11:1)

Matthew 5:17-19 Think not that I am come to destroy the law or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be, fulfilled. Whosoever, therefore, shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Luke 12:47-48 And that servant, which knew his lord’s will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.
