Spiritual Dynamics Of The Spoken Words

Words 8974758982

The spiritual dynamics of the spoken words have been the substance that Christians live by. We harken to the spoken words of God because our values and respect to the living God depend on our obedience.

God gave us ten commandments to live by; we learn from Biblical teaching what is expected of us as Christians. The power of the spoken word can be seen from the book of John 8:1-7 Jesus went unto Olives’ mount. And early in the morning, he came again into the temple, and all the people came unto him; and he sat down, and taught them.

And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst. They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou?

This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not. So when they continued asking him, he lifted himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.

What we observe from Jesus spoken words ” He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her”. The did not stone her because of the words that Jesus spoke. So words have consequences they can either ignite good or evil.

The Bible told us that Moses’ spoke to the rock and got water. Joshua spoke to the walls, and they fell. Peter spoke to the blind man, and he was healed. Jesus spoke to Lazarus in the tomb to come alive. Jesus cursed the fig tree, and it died. Jesus calmed the waters with one word.

Let us look at what the Bible tell us about the spoken words.
Proverbs 15:4 A wholesome tongue is a tree of life: but perverseness therein is a breach in the spirit. Proverbs 18:20 A man’s belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled. Proverbs 20:15 There are gold and many rubies: but the lips of knowledge are a precious jewel.

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have success.

The spoken spiritual dynamics words are powerful, and we must be careful about the words that we utter, they can either bring joy or cause great destruction. Psalm 19:14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.
