The Wrath Of God What It Means To Us All? Step back and let us recognise that the wrath of God is real, and the people who believe that they can flaunt and disrespect his instructions, then we are surely in for a rude awakening.

Humans have broken every rule that God gave us to live by, and one’s that would allow us the privilege of entering his kingdom. Satan has used every destructive tool in his arsenal to corrupt the word and works of God. Pride, greed, wrath, envy, lust, gluttony, and sloth. But the biggest betrayal of all is how the church moves away from the instructions of God.

So, to understand what we are up against when it comes to God’s wrath, we need to understand what the Bible tells us about the wrath of God and how we can prepare ourselves not to be in the firing line.

Romans 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness.

John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abide on him.

Ezekiel 25:17 And I will execute great vengeance upon them with furious rebukes, and they shall know that I am the Lord when I shall lay my vengeance upon them. Here in the book of Ezekiel, God’s promised what will happen, and he never lies, and he already tells us that before one of his words passes away, heaven and earth will pass.

Isaiah 26:21 For, behold, the Lord cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.

Matthew 10:28 And fear, not them that kill the body, but cannot kill the soul: but rather fear him which can destroy both soul and body in hell. Romans 2:5 But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasures up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God.

2 Peter 2:9 The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished. Romans 5:9 Much more than, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

Hebrews 10:26-31 For if we sin wilfully after that, we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice for sins. But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

He that despised Moses’ law died without mercy under two or three witnesses. Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belong unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

John 15:6 If a man abides not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. Psalm 75:8 For in the hand of the Lord there is a cup, and the wine is red; it is full of mixture, and he pours out of the same: but the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall wring them out, and drink them.

1 Thessalonians 5:9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ. Ephesians 5:6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
