What Does The Bible Tell You About Heaven

Heaven is a place everyone has been, told that exist. It is a place many think about, especially when someone we love is nearing the end of life or when they die. Most people believe they are going to end up in heaven when this life is over.

For most people, the thought of heaven warms the heart and brings comfort to the soul. The belief that there is something better for us when we die gives us hope that death is not the end of our existence.

What does the Bible tell us about heaven? What can you expect from God when we enter into his kingdom.

John 14:2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. Jesus is talking about heaven in this scripture. Telling you what he is going to do in making a home for all that believe and worship him spirit and truth.

Your imagination cannot begin to understand the greatness of our Father’s home. 1 Corinthians 2:9 But as it is, written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

There will be no sorrow or woes. Revelation 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

In heaven, you will be in the presence of God. Revelation 21:3 And I heard a great voice saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

There will be no liars, cheaters, deceivers. Revelation 21:27 And there shall, in no wise enter into it anything that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are, written in the Lamb’s book of life.

Heaven is a remarkable place where we must hope to go. The Bible gives us a great incite into the house of the living God. You are, told what is waiting there for you, the Devil and his destructive minions are never going to be in God’s house. Amen
