When You are Down To Nothing, God Is Up To Something For you. Most of us hear that saying but how many of you believe it and have the faith to know that it is true.
The vast majority of people will hit rock bottom at some time. How we emerge from the bottom will be a testament to our faith, trust, and belief in the Almighty God.
God never promised you that your life would be one bed of roses and that you are never going to have trials and tribulations. However, he promises that he will be right beside you to help you overcome, and if you trust and believe that God will help you pick up the pieces, he will do so.
Let us look at the Biblical words that he gave to you when facing trials and tribulations. James 1:2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
James 1:12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
1 Peter 5:10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, establish, strengthen, settle you.
Romans 12:12 Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;
John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that ye might have peace in me. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
1 Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
Romans 5:3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
Exodus 14:14 The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace. The words here in the book of Exodus should give you strength because it said the Lord shall fight for you, and that is absolute. There are no maybe’s, perhaps, or likely. God shall fight for you now and always.
James 1:3-8 Knowing this that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. Let not that man think that he shall receive anything from the Lord. A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways.
Philippians 4:6-7 Be careful for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
1 Peter 4:12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
2 Corinthians 12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly, therefore, will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
