I do not believe in double talk.  In my opinion, it can be extremely dangerous and in this climate where we are so afraid of terrorist activities, christ redeemer the last thing the public needs is misleading information.

According to a media report, the police is warning the Christian community in the UK to be on the alert. This warning comes, following the murder of a Catholic priest in Normandy.

However, the same report goes on to say that there is no specific intelligence to suggest that the UK Christians are at risk or even been a target. So why would security service wants to scare us, are we not worried enough about the craziness happening in the world.

Personally, I believe these types of warnings are potentially counterproductive; they cause more problem than anything else.  I believe that we should always be vigilant, but when we get warning such as these, it just adds another level of stress to an already stressful life.  We can do without speculations and innuendoes.
