What is Faith? Faith is complete trust, or confidence, in someone or something. If we wish to understand faith, love and hope, we must turn to the book of Job. Then ask ourselves could we have undergone what Job when through without breaking
Job demonstrates that to come into the glory of God, to reap all he has to offer we must have unshakeable faith and never allow doubt to cloud our minds.
The question about the differences between Faith and Hope has been asked so many times and sometimes God’s people do not have a clear understanding. We need to turn to 1 Corinthians 13 verse 13 “Now these three remains faith, hope and love, but the greatest of these is love. Faith and hope are very much related, but God his saying to us have hope and faith, but the greatest of them all is love which we not only have for him but among each other.
Hebrew 11 verse 1 “Faith is confidence in what we hope for”: So, here God is telling us that we can achieve all we need if our faith is strong and hope steadfast. Jesus warn us about not having faith, in Matthew 17 verse 20 “And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove, and nothing shall be impossible unto you”.
It has been, said that Biblical hope is, built on faith and, hope: It is the earnest anticipation that comes with believing something good. Let us pray.
Most precious and everlasting Father, I come to you today asking that you strengthen my faith and those of your children. Give hope to those that are doubtful, Lord lift, up your people help us to throw off the shackles of the adversary. The adversaries are destroying your children with lies and false doctrine; I call upon you now to deliver us out of the evil hands of the Devil.
Father strengthen us with the faith and, the hope of Job, but above all let us give out love to all of humanity. Even those who may have wrong us, make us forgive, be of clean hearts and a clear conscience.
Almighty God I thank you for your mercies for giving me the strength to cement my faith in you and, allowing me to know that my hopes are your concerns and any obstacles that are blocking my path you will remove them.
Bless and sanctify your people, give them all they need to get through this day, keep them safe from all harm, I pray in the holy name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Redeemer, Amen.
